Leap years are automatically handled. If your countdown spans February 29th in a leap year, that day is correctly included in the count.
Daylight saving time (DST) transitions don't affect the day count. While clocks may spring forward or fall back, our calculator counts whole calendar days, not hours.
Business days mode excludes Saturdays and Sundays from the count, giving you the number of working days until your target date. This is useful for project deadlines and work-related planning.
